Honestly, what could be better than getting to do what you love with women who match your energy and understand the assignment when it comes to hyping up our fellow ladies!?!

When I first began doing boudoir photography, my first studio was in the upstairs spare bedroom of my house, where I was a one-woman show. I did the makeup, occasionally did hair, I moved everything around in this tiny room by myself while my client got changed, etc. and while I am so thankful that I had that experience, I'm so glad that Cynosure has grown and evolved to the point it has now! When I finally got my own separate studio space, it was MUCH more spacious, and I hadn't even thought about needing an assistant at first, but I quickly learned that I definitely needed some help and hired my best friend who worked with me for 3 years until she got a full time opportunity that she couldn't pass up! While I was happy for her, it was sad to see her go, and I worried that I wouldn't be able to find the right replacement for her...but I was beyond pleased when I met and interviewed with these beautiful ladies, so much so, that I decided to hire them both and alternate them for sessions! They each had such great energy, talent, and genuine love to bring to Cynosure, I just knew we'd make a great trio!

Beth, Kabryn and I work together like a well oiled machine. While I'm doing your makeup, depending on which of these incredible ladies is scheduled for your session, one of them will be doing your hair. While you are changing, we are discussing posing options and setting up for each set together. While I am photographing you, she will be standing nearby to fan your hair, as well as adjusting straps as needed/moving stray items out of the shot etc. While I am chatting with you about photo gifts and product options, she is cleaning and putting things back in their place. We always get to the studio early so we can get everything ready for you, and if we are out of something, she will run to the store to get it.

I happen to have ADHD and suffer from time blindness, so I can easily get carried away, and I like to change things up a lot, but my girls always keep me on time and notice things throughout your shoot that might need to be fixed/moved/adjusted/etc. and help me move and rearrange furniture while you take a sip of wine (; Talk about a dream team!!

I may have started Cynosure by myself, but I could not be more grateful to have these girls be a part of the Cynosure squad now!!

During your boudoir session, you will quickly learn that we absolutely LOVE what we do, and that's not just something we say. Our actions and intentions during your session are all the proof. We will be your biggest cheerleaders, your personal assistants, your pampering squad, and involuntary comedians.....(If being weird/goofy were a crime, we are guilty as charged.)  

With each client that comes through the studio, we can't help but feel incredibly lucky that we get to be professional crown straighteners and hype girls, and that we get to be a part of such a special experience with each and every one of you. Boudoir can feel vulnerable and scary, but I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be!! Our #1 goal is to take the HOTTEST F'ing pictures you have ever seen of yourself, all while feeling like you're amongst friends. You are safe with us babe, we promise.
